Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to wear jersey number 45 at his new club, Galatasaray.
Osimhen could not land his favourite number 9 shirt, which is worn by Argentine striker Mauro Icardi.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has officially signed his season-long loan contract, which will end in June 2025.
“Victor Osimhen has just signed his contract at Galatasaray, the deal is sealed on the player’s side!
“Loan from Napoli until June 2025, NO buy option or obligation clause. Clubs are reviewing all documents now.”
The player is in Turkey and is set for his official unveiling after completing the transfer on deadline day.
