Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew is confident that Crystal Palace can achieve big things in the 2023/24 football season.
The striker was in action for the Eagles last weekend when the team defeated Sheffield United 1-0.
In that game, the Black Stars forward provided the assist for the only goal of the game to earn all three points.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Jordan Ayew rallied his Crystal Palace teammates to work harder to achieve more than the club did last season.
“We need to stay humble and keep on working hard, because we know we have a lot of work to do if we want to be at the top.
“We need to improve on certain aspects of the game and we know that demands time, but we’ll get there. The most important thing is to always put in performances and show that we’re building on what we did last season, and to continue playing strongly,” Jordan Ayew said.
The forward continued, “We need to build on what we did last season. We want to move forwards from that and keep on pushing, putting in good performances, and enjoying ourselves on the pitch, working hard together as a team. Hopefully, the sky’s the limit.”
Up next for Jordan Ayew and his Crystal Palace teammates, they will take on Arsenal on Monday, August 21.
