Two Suspects Grabbed Over Atebubu Teacher Trainee Murder

INFORMATION available to DAILY GUIDE indicates that two suspects have been grabbed by the Techiman North Police over the murder of a level 300 basic education teacher trainee mid this year at Misidan, a community in the Techiman North Municipality.

One of the suspects, identified as 27-year-old Collins Ameyaw, was grabbed at Wenchi and was arraigned before the Tuobodom District Court and remanded to re-appear on September 23, 2024.

The other suspect, Benjamin Wiafe, was also arrested at Tuobodom. He has also appeared before the same court.

According to sources, Collins was grabbed with Hannah’s phone while his accomplice was also found with her chip.

Investigations so far revealed that the suspects were found with Hannah’s lost phone and invited her to come for it in Techiman after she arrived on campus and realised her cell phone got missing on that faithful day.

Police are tight-lipped over the arrests but according to sources, investigations are ongoing.

It would be recalled that Hannah Akosua Frimpomaa a level 300 students of Atebubu College of Education left home in Affumam on June 13 June, 2024 for school but only found her decomposing body later in an uncompleted building at Misidan, a community in the Techiman North Municipality.

Police suspects her murderers drew blood from her body after piercing her neck twice with a sharp object.
