This is your final warning: Give up your presidential ambitions now, pastor warns Cheddar

Kumasi-based pastor Apostle Kofi Nkansah Sarkodie, well known as St. Sark, founder and leader of Open Arms Ministries, has warned New Force leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, over his plans to not run in this year’s presidential elections.

According to St. Sark, ignoring the warning would have dire consequences for Cheddar’s political career.

“I held a press conference and pointed out that he is still young politically and in all aspects, so if he wants to enter politics and become the President of Ghana, he should be given 10 years to do so.

“I told him, but he did not listen and is still actively campaigning to become president,” he said.

Speaking at a press conference held at the church auditorium on Friday, July 19, 2024, St. Sark said: “If he does not cooperate, his political career will end on August 23 because what I am about to say could affect his entire life. I told him I knew where he was coming from.

He stressed that he has repeatedly advised Nana Kwame Bediako to reconsider his decision, but to no avail.

“I know where he is coming from; I know everything about him, so I advise him to step down. I told him he was too young and inexperienced to be president,” he added.
