Ghanaian football administrator, George Afriyie has called on football stakeholders to come together to unseat Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku.
He argues that since Kurt Okraku assumed the top football role, he has been creating wealth for his club Dreams FC while claiming he is creating wealth for all.
Insisting that football is on a decline under the Ghana FA President, George Afriyie wants delegates to vote against Kurt Okraku when Congress convenes for the presidential election.
“You are made to believe Kurt Okraku is making wealth for all. It is a good thing, but the truth is he is making wealth for Dreams FC. Shine your eyes,” George Afriyie said last week in an interview with the media.
The former Ghana FA Vice President continued, “If three of his team members make it to the World Cup and each gets $100,000, how much are they making? What about Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, and other clubs?”
Meanwhile, George Afriyie has officially filed his nomination to contest Kurt Okraku for the GFA Presidency.
Kurt Okraku who has also filed a nomination for re-election is confident that he will win the upcoming polls.
