The running mate of the incumbent party in Ghana, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempreh on the ticket of NPP has made a shocking statement about God while speaking about John Mahama’s 24 hour economy.
The running mate to Dr Bawumia has stated that the NDC is lying to Ghanaians about 24 hour economy and claimed that there’s no country in the world that is practicing 24-hour economy. He added that even God does sleep in the night and rest so why should the NDC forced people to work 24 hours a day? Meanwhile it’s a 3 shift system where 3 persons work each 8 hours a day for 24 hours to help boost the economy and fast development.
According to NAPO, he is not lying what he claimed but looking around the world, United Kingdom, Australia and United State of America and some top countries are practicing the 24 hour economy which have yield massive results for them and it has remained a normal practice in those countries.
NAPO’s claims about God sleeps in the night to rest has not sitted well with some Ghanaians including university of Legon lecture professor Mr Ransford Gyampo.
Prof Gyampo has reacted by saying that where does NAPO got his claim about God from?
He exposed NAPO and quoted portion of the bible in Psalm 121:4 which says that God does not slumber. He doesn’t also sleep and asked that where from the claim that God sleeps at night?
He said it is becoming more difficult to deal with the derogatory perception among Level 100 Students that politics is a game of lies.

It is becoming more difficult to deal with the derogatory perception among Level 100 Students that politics is a game of lies,” Prof Gyampo said on his Facebook wall on 5th September, 2024 some hours after NAPO statement came out.
