Prince Ampem scores as Eyüpspor holds Manisa FK to draw in Turkish Lig 1 clash

Ghanaian forward Prince Ampem showcased his prowess on Friday evening, netting a crucial goal as Eyüpspor secured a 2-2 draw against Manisa Futbol Kulubu in the Turkish Lig 1 encounter at the Mumin Ozkasap Spor Tesisleri.

Ampem, who started the game and played the full duration, opened the scoring for Eyüpspor in the 13th minute, setting the tone for an intense battle.

Despite Eyüpspor’s early lead, Manisa FK fought back, with goals from Jetmir Topalli in the 32nd minute and Bekir Karadeniz in the 47th minute. However, Eyüpspor’s resilience was evident as they managed to salvage a point, thanks to Svit Seşlar’s goal in the 20th minute.

The match saw its fair share of drama, with Eyüpspor’s Bekir Yılmaz receiving a red card in the 58th minute and Manisa FK’s Sandro Lima missing a penalty kick opportunity in the 41st minute.

With this result, Eyüpspor, already assured of promotion to the Super League, now sits at 68 points, while Manisa FK’s tally rises to 33.

In the upcoming fixture, Eyüpspor will host Boluspor, while Manisa FK faces Altay away. Prince Ampem continues to impress, tallying 10 goals and 4 assists in his 29 league appearances this season.
