Leicester City submit offer to Crystal Palace for Jordan Ayew – Report

Premier League returnees Leicester City have officially submitted an offer to Crystal Palace for Ghana forward Jordan Ayew, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The move comes as Leicester’s manager, Steve Cooper, seeks to reunite with Ayew, who played under him at Swansea City four years ago.

Ayew, 32, has one year remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park, and his future at the club appears uncertain after limited playing time since Oliver Glasner took over as manager.

Leicester aims to bolster its attacking options as it prepares for the upcoming Premier League season. The club views Ayew as an ideal candidate to bring valuable experience to their squad.

Although Ayew has drawn interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, the Leicester move is gaining momentum.

Last season, Ayew contributed four goals and seven assists for Crystal Palace, primarily playing from the right wing.

Despite his consistent presence in the squad, he has not scored more than five goals in a season since the 2019-20 campaign, raising questions about his form and future prospects.
