Continuation of Daniel Asiedu’s testimony in the case in which he has been charged for the murder of Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu has been adjourned to June 10 with the hopes that the jurors would have resumed.

Since May 16, 2024, all indictable cases including murder and Treason felony have grounded to a halt following the jury strike over 10 months unpaid allowances.

In Court on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the jurors in the Daniel Asiedu’s trial were absent.

Asiedu alias Sexy Don Don was expected to continue with his oral evidence in Chief as he opens defence to charges.

Justice Lydia Osei Marfo while adjourning the case said she hopes the jurors will return by June 10, for the case to progress.

Both Asiedu and his legal team led by Lawyer Yaw Dankwah were present while Mrs Sefakor Batse, a Principal State Attorney represented the republic.

Asiedu had pleaded not guilty to murder and robbery and is facing trial.
