Ghana’s Forson Amankwah commends teamwork in Salzburg’s win over Austria Wien

Ghanaian youngster, Forson Amankwah, has lauded his teammates for the team work displayed in Salzburg’s win over Austria Wien.

He played a pivotal role in the 2-0 victory in the Round 3 clash in the ongoing 2023/24 Austrian Bundesliga season.

The 20-year-old midfielder delivered an outstanding display that saw him find the back of the net in the win.

In the wake of the victory, Forson Amankwah took to his Instagram account to share his elation, posting, “Great team work guys 🔴⚪️# God Alone ☝🏽🙏🏽”.

The breakthrough moment arrived in the 55th minute, when Forson Amankwah confidently struck the back of the net from the middle of the box, netting the first goal of the match.

The goal was a result of a well-executed assist from teammate Mads Bidstrup, the result of effective teamwork from Red Bull Salzburg.

Undeterred by his goal, Amankwah continued to dominate the midfield, contributing to Red Bull Salzburg’s dominant performance throughout the match.

The young midfielder’s remarkable presence on the field persisted until the 80th minute when he was substituted, receiving a commendable performance rating of 7.6.

Karim Konate sealed the deal with a stunning strike during added time, sealing the 2-0 victory and sending the home crowd into raptures of job.
