Ghana legend Abedi Pele sends best wishes to Jordan Ayew as new season begins

Ghana legend Abedi Pele has wished his son, Jordan Ayew well following the commencement of the new campaign.

Ayew kicked of the Premier League season in style, helping Crystal Palace to snatch victory at Sheffield United last Saturday.

The Black Stars forward put up an impressive show when Crystal Palace recorded a narrow victory at the Bramall Lane.

Ayew was in inspired form, assisting his outfit only goal as they secure the three maximum points in their first game of the season.

After a goalless first half, Roy Hodgson’s men stepped up to find the vital goal that granted them the maximum points.

Odsonne Edouard received an excellent cross from Jordan Ayew, found some room inside the box, and scored the goal in the 50th minute.

Before the season opener, the three-time African Footballer of the Year winner had taken to social to wish his son well.

“Have a brighter season @jordan_ayew9” he tweeted.

In their next match, Palace will host Arsenal at the Selhurst Park on August 21 in an exciting London derby.
