A police officer (General corporal Opoku) who based in Breman Brakwa in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district in central region has donated some amount of money to some students in the district. D
Some of the things he donated were books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets etc and also added some amount of money.
In an interview with the media, general corporal Opoku said, the district especially Breman Brakwa, is a deprived area so he saw it as necessary to help some of the students. Some of the students are not going to school not because that’s their wish but there is no money to feed on- he added.
He made the donations through his own charity foundation called “Boafo foundation”. He pleaded with the public to support so he do more for the community and the nation as a whole.
The main beneficiaries of this donations were Breman Brakwa D/A basic school. General corporal Opoku put smiles on the faces of the students and also the school authorities applauded him for the donations.
