Afronitaaa and Abigail Make History, Advance to Britain’s Got Talent 2024 Finals

Ghanaian dancers Afronitaaa and Abigail Dromo have made history by becoming the first Ghanaian act to reach the finals of Britain’s Got Talent.

Their impressive semi-final performance on Wednesday night secured them a spot in the highly coveted finals, set to take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

The dynamic duo wowed the judges and audience with their high-energy performance, which featured a medley of hits like Fuse ODG’s “Azonto,” Beyonce’s “Run The World,” and Toofan’s “Gweta.” Their routine was a vibrant celebration of African culture, complete with traditional clothing and props.

Simon Cowell, known for his tough critiques, was visibly impressed, saying, “What is happening behind me is more important than what I say.” The audience gave them a standing ovation, showering them with praise even during the judges’ evaluation sessions.

Afronitaaa, a 20-year-old dancer, and her protege, Abigail Dromo, a 7-year-old deaf dancer, have captured the hearts of the nation with their talent, dedication, and inspiring story. Their qualification for the finals marks a historic achievement for Ghana on a global stage.

The official Instagram page of Britain’s Got Talent confirmed their success with a post: “Your votes have sent Abigail & Afronitaaa straight through to Sunday’s FINAL! Congratulations! #BGT.”

Afronitaaa and Abigail will now prepare for the finals of the competition, where they will face off against other talented acts vying for the top prize.

We wish them the best of luck and congratulate them on their remarkable achievement so far!
