Ghana’s entertainment industry is taking a stand against the country’s power crisis, as Kumawood stars Wayoosi and Michael Afrane join forces with actress Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ vigil.

The event, scheduled for May 25 at the Revolution Square, aims to protest the recent resurgence of erratic power cuts and demand a lasting solution from the government.

In a viral video, they lamented that the power crisis under the previous NDC government was more manageable, sparking a heated debate among Ghanaians.

The ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ vigil, convened by Yvonne Nelson, Selorm Dramani Dzramado, and Henry Osei Akoto, promises to be a significant event, with a strong show of support from both the entertainment industry, cooperation organizations and business owners.

The event aims to send a clear message to the government that the people demand action to address the power crisis, which has caused hardship and inconvenience for many Ghanaians.

By joining forces, the Kumawood stars and Yvonne Nelson’s vigil aim to amplify the voices of Ghanaians and push for a solution to this national crisis.
