Media General’s cohorts of top political journalists were stopped from attending the Meet the Press event held by NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday night.
That’s the contention of Johnnie Beresford Hughes, one of the three, who exposed this action taken by the NPP flagbearer during his show on Monday.
According to him, he had no inclination to attend the event because he did not attend similar events held by Mahama and Alan Kyeremanten.
However, his company, Media General applied for himself, Walker and Captain Smart and they were all denied entry.
Johnnie Hughes blasted the NPP flagbearer for his decision.
