Remo Stars’ President, Kunle Soname, has revealed that his team has not undertaken any special preparations for their CAF Champions League preliminary round match against Medeama SC.
Soname disclosed that the team will approach the game without any unique or extraordinary arrangements. He noted, “We didn’t make any special preparations for this game. We will just play our normal game,” in an interview with Akoma FM.
The Nigerian outfit is set to face off against Medeama SC in the first leg of their continental encounter, with the match scheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The second leg of the fixture is slated to be played a week later.
As both teams are relatively new to African inter-club competitions, there exists a degree of unfamiliarity between the sides.
Soname further shared insights into the team’s travel plans, revealing that they would arrive in Ghana on Saturday with the support of an airline sponsor.
“We will be arriving on Saturday with an airline which is a sponsor of our team. Arriving on Saturday will not affect us because the weather conditions are similar.”
