Central Region NSA director Alexander Atieku discusses preparations for Medeama vs Remo clash

In anticipation of the highly-awaited clash between Medeama and Remo in the CAF Champions League Preliminary game, the Central Region National Sports Authority director, Alexander Atieku, has shed light on the meticulous preparations underway.

With the game set to unfold this Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium, Atieku has taken center stage to emphasize the paramount focus on security and medical arrangements.

“The preparation is going on very well yesterday we had stakeholders meeting we met security, medical team, and all other stakeholders to devise strategies for the match,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

“Medeama’s officials were all there the match should have been played in Tarkwa. Their Stadium is not ready and the nearest CAF approved facility that is the Cape Coast Sports Stadium that is were the game will be held.

“We will be deploying 140 security officers, 20 not in uniform to provide safety before during and after the match. The second thing is medical we have also met Red Cross, Saint John’s and National Ambulance two ambulances will be deployed Red Cross will also be deployed, Saint John’s will also be deployed for this important match,”
