The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has broken with Mr. Martin Dele, CEO of the defunct Ponzi scheme DKM, denying being a member of the party.
As part of the NPP flagbearer’s visit to the Upper West Region, where he interacted with the chiefs and people of the region, Mr. Martin Dele was seen at the palace of the Emir of Nandom, Prof. Naa Edmund Delle Chiir VIII, sighted.
It was learnt that he was acting on behalf of the respected chief and was making a presentation to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his delegation, which was recorded by the media.
A member of the Publicity Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Deputy Spokesperson, Mr Eric Adjei has since attacked the NPP for alleging that Mr Martin Dele is a leading campaigner for the NPP flagbearer.
He wrote: “This man, Martin Dele, was a key member of Bawumia’s campaign team and the founder of DKM Financial Services, who deceived many in the Bono region in 2016. The NPP lied to Ghanaians, claiming that the company was owned by the then former First Lady. Now this fraudster is a key member of Bawumia’s campaign team. All I can say is, beware of fraudsters masquerading as serious politicians.”
In a sharp rebuttal, Krobea Kwabena Asante, a member of Bawumia’s campaign team, said, “Eric Adjei, get this right. Your lies do not work and cannot change the fact that the DKM scam happened under your watch and you, as an administration, left your customers’ deposits unscathed.

MARTIN DELE is not a member of the NPP nor is he part of our campaign team.Yesterday Dr. Bawumia Naa Prof Edmund Delle Chiiir VIII, Paramount Chief of Nandom, and Martin, a member of the royal family and nephew of the overlord, was at the palace to present the Emir with a gift from his uncle in the skin.
Today you are calling Martin, an NDC staffer, a thief?, is all he has done for you in the Bono region over? Has politics changed you a lot, my brother Eric? You don’t know him? Wow.”
