The head coach of US Cremonese, Davide Ballardini was full of praise for Ghana striker Felix Afena-Gyan after the club’s win over Crotone in the Coppa Italia on Monday evening.
The young forward started for his team in the Round 64 encounter of the domestic cup competition in Italy today and scored a crucial goal to inspire his team to a 3-1 comeback win after extra-time.
Speaking in his post-match interview, coach Davide Ballardini applauded Felix Afena-Gyan for putting up a quality performance.
“Yes, it was a good match for him and he was disciplined, playing with good quality: It’s what you ask of a boy like him: attention in covering the field, movement, and also generosity in the defensive phase,” the US Cremonese head coach said.
Following his good start to the season, Felix Afena-Gyan is hoping to hit top form as soon as possible to enjoy a good season.
